Advantages over other single channel IV curve tracers

Amount of Datapoints:

Since the PV Master 10 is based on capacitive measurement, it is able to save up to 2000 data points in one curve.

With the extension box up to 20 strings can be measured simultaneously with one mousclick in around 1 minute.

With the extension boxes, the PV Master 10 can easily be adapted to a multi-channel IV curve measuring device. As can be seen in the connection diagrams on the left and right, it is very easy to connect the extension box and the PV Master, then only the strings need to be connected and the measurement can begin.

Sensorbox Options

The “Light” and “Expert” sensor boxes offer optimal environmental sensors with easy connection to the PV Master. Simply connect them via cable, and the STC curve can be generated.

Sensorbox light:

The “Sensorbox Light” has a class C pyranometer for measuring the solar irradiation and two PT100 sensors (one external, one internal) for measuring the ambient and module temperature.

5. EXPORT

The instrument can automatically generate reports and professional documentation. The user can create reports that include all information (location, comments, company logo, etc) directly on-site or during post processing. PDF reports that are saved on the instrument are always available and can be shared directly via email. Data can be exported into CSV, XLS, PDF.

6. OTHER PROGRAMS

The instrument uses Microsoft Windows© as the operating system. Programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word or Matlab can be added as well as Email messaging services.

How Not To – Out-dated Measurement Approach

Analysing the effects of Supraharmonics asks for Power Quality Analyzer that cover a frequency range up to 500 kHz. Classical PQ Analyzers present problems because of their limited bandwidth. Typically they can measure up to the 50th Harmonics (2.5kHz), but cannot detect higher emissions of voltage and currents.
